we are here to help..not help this user break parts and then have hours of fixes in front of them..if your going to go brushless make sure you have the start turned down and stay under 17.5,, id personally stay at a 21.5 less kv still will have torque,, ive been in this hobby 25 years ..so I might not knowing what I'm talking about !

As long as the user is getting an equivalent ( power/speed ) motor to the one they are replacing... I'd recommend a brushless over a brushed motor every time. The brushless motors are more efficient and don't produce as much heat... The only downside is that the brushless is typically a little more expensive since they require a more complex controller. The only way they'd break more is if they picked a motor that had significantly more power/speed than the original.
