What is the correct way to store my spektrum transmitter battery during the off season?

If it is a LiFe pack, just discharge it to 6.6 volts and you should be fine. If you are using a lipo, discharge it to 3.8 volts per cell. If you are using NiMh, discharge it to 20% capacity.

I have a lithium ion transmitter pack. 2s 2000mAh
7.4 v
You suggested to discharge to 3.8 v per cell.
I think it is 4 cells
3.8 x4 = 15.2 volts
I don't understand!

If you have a 2s pack that has 4 cells, then you have a 2s2p pack meaning you have a set of two cells in parallel which doubles the mah, but then those two cells are connected to the other two cells in series creating 2s. You will still take it to 3.7 to 3.8 volts per cell which would give you a total pack voltage of between 7.4 and 7.6 volts. Hope this makes sense. If not, let me know.
