General Throttle Hold Settings

Since i will be getting used to spooling up and landing in idle Stunt 1, i need to know how the settings should look in the transmitter. The manual says that while in the throttle curve menu, i should have 10% for the values but when i try this and land it, its confusing because the motor is still on?

I have a few questions..

How does yours look?
What does the curve look like on normal mode?
Do you even use normal mode?
What should be the switch process for spooling up and down?

I learned that normal mode should always be using to get the heli into a hover, now I guess thi gs vary from heli to heli because i still do this with the Blade 370 and Trex500

Throttle hold curve should be zero % flat line. I recall that the old DX6i had a certain quirk in it's software that meant that you had to use 10% on TH but that's specific to the DX6i. For any other Tx just set zero %.

All my flight modes use simple flat line throttle 'curves', typically something like:

TH = 0%
Idle Up 1 = 65%
Idle Up 2 = 75%
Idle Up 3 = 85%

Personally i use the same pitch curve for all modes, roughly +/- 12 degrees with zero degrees at mid stick.

Using the governor in all cases.
