throddle hold

Hey everyone
I need some help on throddle hold. I do know what throddle hold is...but not exactly sure what is it should be doing. If it is like a cruse control how do i set up throddle told.I guess (explain first) for the sim, so i can get an idea of the set up. what is the perentage that it should be at, from what side of the spectrum(no pun intended), power up part or what.On the sim it goes from oo - 100.Most controlers go percent i know. For the sim case what should it be from 00 - 100. once i know it on the sim i will understand it enough to put it in the controler program

"Throttle Hold". Is used to cut the motor. When you know you are going to crash, you flick the switch to cut the motor. This will save alot of parts from being damaged. You also use throttle hold for auto rotations. Cutting the power high and descending under the inertia of the blades.
So the setting should be 0% throttle and your pitch curve should be as it is for normal flying.
