Sorry for the late reply guys. I love the FunKey fuselage. Fit and finish is good. My Jet Ranger is based on a local heli that operates from Rand Airport just outside of Johannesburg.
I swopped the main rotor direction to CCW and moved the tail rotor to the left hand side. I had to remount the tail servo to the top of the Rex 700 frame and run the pushrod on top of the tail boom.
The only real difficult part was to get everything to fit in the tail! I believe a Rex 600 tail casing is the way to go for an easier fit. I also fitted shorter balls on the bottom half of the swash to make it fit into the doghouse without rubbing.
I fly on two 4 cell, 3800 mAh lipos in series and have around 48 to 50 % left in the packs after a 10 minute flight. I do run a low head speed of around 1250 RPM though.
All in all, a very nice flying machine and completely different to my normal Rex 700.
