This maybe of interest to those like myself who enjoy this hobby on a budget. A simple to make Swash levelling gauge where nothing needs to be removed from the head to set the Swash up level. Simply slide the gauge under the swash and lower down. It's easy to see which corner of the swash is sitting high or low. Not my idea but from a German heli site. 
I can not see any snag using this method has long as the wood is with out warps and is flat. Cheers
