I've bought a few micro servos (and standard servos) that are described as 180°, but I can only get about 100° out of them. Does anyone know what I can do to gain that extra 80°, without an expensive servo stretcher or fancy tx that overdrives beyond 120%.

End points or servo travel is all I can say. Adjust your end points to max. If that does not work then you will need a fancy radio.

My BK servos will spin 360 degrees but will only travel a specified distance. Which is only 60 degrees off center.

Agreed. There is only so much that some Tx's can do. Beyond that and it will cost a little (or a lot) more money.
