Today I got the chance to join my mum and her husband Bruce on a classic car rally near our village.
There was a fantastic turn out of many different makes, and the day couldn't have been better weather.
I put go pro cameras all over our car for the drive. They came out very well.
Took some pics with my iPod. Hope you like them.

The first picture is of our car. A Riley 9 'Lynx" Great fun to drive in.



This beast, had a fire engine motor. What a monster.It has been on Top Gear UK a while back, driven by Jeremy Clarkson
Thats the supercharger on the front.



This Motorbike is a custom made one off bike.
The guy started with the two cyclinder heads from an old Dakota DC3 airplane.
Its a 5L engine, every part of which is custom made.
When he fired it up, all i can say is, it sounded like 10 Harleys all starting at the same time.



Heres my car.......... Yeh right This is my favourite car that one day I plan on owning.
The AC Cobra. I had always liked the Blue cars, but this green one has got my attention.



Unfortunately there was one disaster.
This guy was starting his bike, when it suddenly caught fire. They were very quick to put it out, but still a lot of damage.

Thanks for the pic's Lee. I think I saw an MGB like my '79 there in the back. That custom bike was sweet.

My mum and her husband used to have an MGB roadster and an MGB GT, then an MG TF before the Riley. They are not my cup of tea. I'm a Cobra guy through and through Not that i'll ever own one unless i win the lottery.

I still think the Cobra has to be blue.

I used to work for the president of our local vintage car club.
I worked on a lot of old vehicles and I have to say I am so glad I don't any more.
Sorry guys but modern Japanese cars are so much nicer to work on when you do it for a living.

These are nice to look at but I could never own one.
When it's a hobby it is so different.

I'm with you Lee!! Love that Cobra, the only thing that could top a cobra for me would be the GT40.

Really sucks about the bike but Man!! That cobra !! Wow! Love it!!

Shelby's sons actually found 10 untouched frames in the factory warehouse last year and those things went like hot cakes and got built stock!! Wonder if this was one if them or a replica... Whatever it was!! JUST WOW!
