250 One quick question

Hi all, one very quick question, my receiver in my 250 is all bound finally to my DX6i and working well but it is solid orange should this be? But my speed controller isn`t plugged in could this be a ponetial reason for the solid orange light.

The solid orange light is what you want when your flying.

If your ESC is not plugged in, then how is the Rx getting power?

There was a some kind of harness the LHS sold him that allowed him to bypass the ESC. That's if I read the other threads correctly. It was so he could test out the electrical system without the ESC installed.

Yeah, I read that and I think it was a Rx pack for a nitro plane/heli

Thats how i test everything. I have an RX battery pack spare to check all electrics. This allows you to test the servos and RX with the worry of the motor spooling up, or having to unplug it.
