hi everyone,
my name is doug and i am very new to the rc world. i have been flying my brothers super cub around quite a bit and was thinking about purchasing one, but after thinking about it i decided to build my own. i have been researching it at great lengths think that i am almost ready to start. i also picked up some hot wire cutters and have started practicing with the tools so that i am more familiar with them. i am very excited to join this forum and gain everyones valuable knowledge.

Hey Doug, welcome to RCH! Those Super Cub's are very stable and a perfect platform to learn on. Building one from scratch is a challenge to say the least, but it can be done by a beginner. The bonus here is you have one to look at to base yours off of. If you have any questions, all you have to do is ask.
