Lipo Alarm Warning

I have been trying to set up a Hobbyking flight control board on my quad and have been having problems.
I think this may have been one of the reasons.
These more advanced boards also seem to be ultra fussy about vibrations.
Up until now I have used a KK2.
The weather is terrible at the moment so I can't go out and see if I have made a difference.

Great demonstration bro! Hopefully this will help some of those out that are having issues.

Anything metal will affect a compass. I learned this in the military. A simple M16A2 will affect the readings enough to throw you off course. With that said I am sure carbon fiber will do the same. Be cautious of how and whre you place your compass, even the slightest bit of metal and you wont find a great hobby store :loao:.

Great post!!!!!

Thanks guys.

I have found the power cables running under the board have an effect too.
I would imagine more so once there is a bit of current running through as they produce an electromagnetic field.
I'm gonna check that tomorrow.
I may have to space the FC board up a bit more to get away from it.
Or maybe disable the onboard compass and get a GPS/compass combo.
Then I can mount them up away from everything.

Never had these problems with a KK2. :)
