General Ikon question

If using the existing align RCE BL45x ESC on the 450L with the ikon FFL sys I wouid also need a receiver right? If so, what receiver wouid be best using a Spek DX8? Do I just need a satellite?

It's been suggested that the AR7200BX would be all I would need, but I sure like what I read about the Ikon.

thats right the AR7200bx has a integrated dmsx receiver and he Ikon/brain needs a sat or 2.

Ive not flown Beast X so i cant comment but i do have brain on my 550 and love it.

yeah you can get away with one sat on a 450, but on anything bigger then you ideally need 2.

Yep, one sat in a nice open location on the frame will be fine.
