I'm a new member you can call me hitchhiker and I'm 66 years old I've been in some type of racing all my life now I'm addicted to RC Nitro burning fuel wildcats trucks and cars like to say hey and thank you to everyone

I don't do cars or trucks, so take this as just info from someone without experience in that area...

I don't believe they are referred to by model year like in real life... They are refer by scale size and model design. Then they carry that model design for a period of time that may only include paint scheme changes or other upgrades. Trying to find when a model was actually made may be difficult unless some of the main components include date codes on them in the moldings somewhere. To add some difficulty, the hobby is well known for customizing so there are different shells you can get and then further customize if you wish.
