General How To Rebuild R/C Shocks

I'm sure they are the same ratio. When you take the diff's off the truck, you will have to twist the front (where the driveshafts go in) off, then remove two screws. Once it's open, you will see the ring and pinion. Two bearings on the input pinion, then the ring gear will have a large plastic case on it. Take the 4 screws out of the ring gear to release the case, and in there, you will see two output shafts, and a set of spider gears. There is a very small pin on the spiders, so watch out and make sure you don't lose it. Clean with brake, carb cleaner, or if you have a solvent tank like I do, use that. I put just a little axle grease on the gears, and put a pretty good dab inside the actual diff with the spiders. Put it back together and you are golden. Don't forget to clean and lube the bearings while you are in there.

Cool sounds easy enough. If I pop them off and they feel good then I'll leave them alone. If not I'll use the t maxx diffs and rebuild the others has spares.
