Hi mate I always do my pitch at right angle to the heli due to the input being put in to the blades 90 degs before it acts on the blades , so when you want the heli to move forward this input is done by the swash 90 degs before the blades get to the front of the heli , never had set up problems doing it this way

Hi Neil, thanks for the video link, I'll watch the whole thing tomorrow when I've got some more time.

I've seen something similar before and also watched the heli whilst turning the rotor by hand. What Lee's talking about is if there's no change to the tilt of the swashplate, in this case no cyclic input during the set-up process. If the swashplate stays level with +11 degrees of pitch, the pitch stays the same as the rotor turns through 360 degrees. Think that's correct............ off to entertain some visitors and eat/drink plenty 'hic'!

As long as it works, thats the main thing :D
I have measured my pitch with blades inline, and at right angles. Never made a difference for me :)
