250 HK 250 bearings

Hi
I am at the moment building a HK 250 helicopter.
In the manual for the Trex 250 there is no mention of using any lubrication on the main gear bearings ie the bearing or one way bearing.
Is it recommended to do this?

You do not want to use oil on the one way bearing. If you do, it will slip. There is an oil out there for those, but I can't remember the name of it. it has friction modifiers in it. But, just leave it as is since is should have some kind of lube in it already even if you can't see it. I never did anything with mine, and it held great. I think I also replaced it with an Align part as well after a while when I got the new main gear.

I also think they are sealed bearings. No lub required! I bought A bearing lub tool myself but have yet to use it.

Not the one way bearing. The block bearings, head bearings, grip bearings... Those are all sealed. But if you take your main gear off, you can see the bearings down in there.

Hi gentlemen

Thank you all for the information.
In the Align manual it has no information on this.
Will build & let you know how i get on.
Keep well
