General Helicopter troubles

What would stop by helicopter from lifting off? The batteries of fresh in the battery in the helicopters charged, but it still won't lift off the ground.

What kind of heli do you have? Is it collective pitch or fixed pitch? Normally if it is a fixed pitch then head speed is not high enough, with collective pitch its one of two things or both: pitch and/or head speed. Batteries can play a role if the C rating is not high enough or the batteries are old. If I missed anything them someone else will chime in.
