General Fixed pitch 450???

where can i find a fixed pitch setup for a 450 and if i made my own could i still use a 120degree swashplate. How would it compare to a mini in the wind. and how about stabilty?

I've heard of it being done but for what reason do you want to do it? If you want to, i guess you could just set it up as normal CCPM heli then in your pitch menu set it to something between 4º and 6º Then set your throttle curve to linear. I'm just guessing that would work, so don't take it as gospel.

What Lee stated will work, kinda. But you asked about wind. A regular fixed pitch hates wind with a passion, and if you lock the pitch on a collective pitch heli, it will be the exact same. You need the head speed to keep these ccpm helis stable so going fixed pitch will actually make life harder in learning how to fly these.
