Day of contrast

Well a day of contrast. First I destroy an ESC with old age brain fade and this evening the delight of doing a first controlled transition from tail in to nose in and a hover. DELIGHTED! Also a first of
flying in a straight line for a good distance and actually feeling the heli like a plane. What I am getting now though is flights of just about 5 minutes before the battery voltage drops and I am pushing the throttle to the high
end stop. Is this normal. I have set the end points on a YEP 45amp ESC but it feels like the RMP drops markedly at about 4mins flight time. This is great for a newbie but frustrating when you can't get height.
An interesting day. Sorry no video but I will work on this. Cheers

Good to hear you're getting there!

At max rpm, my 450 lasted 5min10sec of 3D flight. So it sounds about right.

Hey Treff, belt drive 450's are alot less efficient than TT versions, I was getting about 5 mins on my old 450, plus i have heard that hovering takes more battery power than sport flying, what battery are you using as well?
