Beginning of my collection

Just getting into the hobby but already I have 2 heli's that can't wait to get into the air. Darn this cold Wisconsin weather in the winter time. The 500 still needs the wiring cleaned up a little but decided to see what I need to do to secure the flying gear to the Trex 500 Pro Dfc. Think I will use either zip ties. The other small bird is the Red Bull BO-105 CB 130x which I got with my black DX9. Thought to practice with it first to get proficient prior to taking up my Trex.

Yes the weather and snow do make learning how to fly a pain. But it gives me time to tidy up things on them and hopefully set my tx up properly.

First time? never flown before ? Helis i mean...then stick with the 130x and make sure you can fly circles and all direction hovers in a flight sim. Have fun !

Been practicing on the Phoenix flight sim but also flying in the house a Blade Nano QX quad. That's giving me real flying practice along with the sim.

Sweet !!!! I found out that the cold weather is thicker and the blades take a better bite on the air !!!! That's why mine shoots straight up. 1/4 throttle and still 100 feet up ! Thought I was gonna have to try and auto rotate to bring her down

Will be adding to the fleet soon. Just ordered a Trex 550L Dominator Super Combo. I was still trying to fine tune in my 500 with its 3GX but have lots of tail wag. Waiting for the iKON1001 which should give me more options for its setup but also Bluetooth operational. Thus its setting can be adjusted at the field. I hope this will help with the tail wag.

Hi mate the tail wag on the 3GX is the P & I gains on the tail , all my 3GX had this, I now only have Kbars on my 500s , Is there any difference between the 500 Pro DFC I have 2 one came with the same canopy as your and all black gears my second one has white main gears and a chequered flag on the edge , Now to make it more confusing the first one the box showed a picture of the second heli not the one in the box
