I am in the market for another Asus Router. In fact, I need two of them. The only requirement is it needs to work (the older ones had NVRAM issues, I have one, no way to repair) and it needs to have 5GHz. My main router is not a dual band 5GHz (tri-band I think is what they call them). Since I'm moving everything into this new office, I need internet over here on the opposite side of my house, and the AiMesh on the new firmware allows you to connect the routers together and not lose any speed like you do with a bridge.
So if you have an old Asus Router you are not using, let me know. Otherwise, I'm going to have to play with the spiders under my house and run some new Cat5e cable into this room. Yes, I know it would be better, but I really don't want to crawl under my house.... lol.
