hiya fellers..anyone familiar with the ar7200bx setup?.in menu "G" when i go to 90 my servos as close as i can..do i need to be at midstick?..and also when leveling swash?
hello!..and thanks for the reply...so thats whe way i did it..with stick at low position..after i cycled thru the 3 servos getting them all 3 at 90..when i go back to the refrence position the servos dont stay where they were..so my swash will be level after im done with the pitch servo..when i click into refrnce..my swash goes caddy wampas a little and its no longer levelHey there illhillbilly and You can but you don't have to have the sticks @ mid point on letter G. Just make sure your heli is on a level surface first. Then get the servos @ 90 degrees. This where you need to use your manual for that heli and use their linkage #, as a reference to get your swashplate level and reading "0" or close to, on your pitch gauge. You need to take your time on this section in order for letter "J" to work. "J" is where you need 6 degrees cyclic pitch and the blue light. You might not be able to get the blue light special, that's what I call it lol, so get close to the blue light but make sure you get 6 degree on the pitch cyclic. I hope this help and good luck .
ive watched the vids...guess im just dumb cuz im not doin summin right...before i leave the menu..my swash is level..the instant i click into H ..it goes sidewaysHere you go. Tony, owner of this site, explain the setup of the 7200BX
yes sir..i believe thats the way i did it...i enterd into G.. then I put my servo horns on close to 90 as I could get them.. hit rudders stick to get my elev...i didnt hafta touch it as it was a dead 90..cycled to my aile..adusted..pitch....adjusted..then with pitch still active..i leveld my swash..and ya kno what...!?..lol...i think i got it finally lol..I wonder if I could help.. Definitely check what D.O.G. said. Enter step G LED off, get all arms as close to 90 as possible with the LED off. Then cycle though each servo to level your swash. Do not try to level the swash with the LED off. You also cant 90 the arms with any color LED on. When you exit the step, one color LED should be on although I don't think that matters.
no..the ar7200 is a 1 servo 90 functionOK. Your swashplate goes side ways in "H" Do you have 120 degrees "Red light" set instead of 90 degrees? Common mistake.
oh wait!!..u sed in menue G not the radio..i apologize...yes sir!..i had it on 120..no..the ar7200 is a 1 servo 90 function
i feel like such a bonehead...wait till ya hear this! lol...i couldnt figure out why i was getting neg pitch when i would raise the collective..i knew i had my blades on right ..went thru all the reverse channel options..evrything was right..after staring at it for an hour i finally seen the problem..so as i was working my way up the head setup ..when i put my main rotor back on..i had the dagum main grips flipped upside down!! smh...lolOK. Your swashplate goes side ways in "H" Do you have 120 degrees "Red light" set instead of 90 degrees? Common mistake.
okay..yeah im 11 and 11...can i borrow 2 more of yer cents?..so my collective feels real comfy for me at the moment..but my cyclic feels way to twitchy..very sensitive..how would u reccomend i tone it down..i belive theres a setting in the parameter menu..then the dials on the rx itself i believe u can..or should i use expo in my tx..im just scared ta mess with the rx dials and settings afraid ill goober summin up..and also..my tail has a very slight wobble while hovering..and also wants to kick out a little when i punchout..i tried to fix the wobble by turnin my gain down just a little in my tx..but when i do the tail dont wanna hold at all...any suggestions my friend?Well this is just my . I have my 500 at the setting above. As for pitch, start off @ 10 degrees +/- and see how you like that. I have mine @ 13 degrees pitch +/- but that's me and we have the same tail settings 63% too .
i will give er a shot and see how she reacts..thanks friend!I would just set the flying style to "normal" in the parameter menu. Default is sport. You don't want to make any adjustments in the tx unless you set it to "transmitter". I had started a thread somewhere about what expo settings are in the various presets. There is expo set in all the presets believe it or not.
