FBL Gyro Ar7200bx firmware update

So, how critical is the firmware update? Do I need to rush and buy the spma3030? I have had 0 issues with the system. What are the advantages of the firmware update?

I would welcome the opinion and direction from those who are familiar with the update.

If it's flying fine, I would leave it alone. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

I just saw that they had a firmware update out for these. Sounds like they may have added a governor mode to it? Need to read up more.

If they did, they would have to give you a whole new board and case to accommodate the RPM sensor. Maybe the new ones will come with that feature. That would be great.

Not sure. They might be able to use the data port for telemetry for it.

Maybe I'm confused here... I thought I remembered hearing something about a recently released update, but now I'm not able to find anything about it online. PErhaps my imagination running amok.
