Thought this would be cool to share. So we were going through some OLD pictures and came across these. This was a Bob Violett "Viojett" I built back in the early 90s. There were 3 of us involved in this build. The guy who bought the kit, me the builder and the guy who painted it. These early ducted fans were nitro powered by a 91 engine with a real long tuned pipe. They were way ahead, (imo) of their time. This thing was flown by a guy named Vic who did the paint job. It was incredibly fast. The system was designed by a aerospace engineer Lee Anderson. And yes, thats me... proof I had hair...lmao
