450

Well today I was quite shocked when I lost the blades of my 450 AGAIN!!

My fault entirely:( Lack of maintenance and pre-flight checks.

BUT....and it is a big but, it is testament as to how reliable Trex 450,s are in general and how mine has been in particular.

Awesome little guy, and when all else fails, the one I turn to as I know it Will Fly, without hesitation, repetition or deviation(UK Radio joke in there).

Hovering only in the back garden:) no circuits, no long flights:(

Did it fail at the spindle bolt or the blade bolt? Id say they haven't refined the electronics yet but mechanically mines been fair enough.

The bolt just came slack, no vibration, and lucky I had hovered round the garden, then set down, just started to spool up and......pop:) both blades off:)

Glad your safe. I had that happen twice while doing test spool ups. Scared the liquid out me.
