Wondering how to figure what’s the lowest head speed I could run for normal? 19 teeth pinion and 120 main gear? 380 Buddy

I’ve ran two 6s 1800’s on it so far. Timers set at 3 minutes. Leaving 47% In battery. Wish I could get longer flight time. Head speed in 2350 normal and 2500 lu1. I don’t use lu2. Going to get batteries to about 20 % and see how much longer flight is.

Hey, there neverhappy. I only get 3 1/2 to 4 mins on my Gaui X3L so don't feel bad. My 550 gets 5 to 6 minutes... go figure. I go no lower than 15%. on my batteries and I don't let my batteries fully charged sit for more than 72 hrs... that's just me.

DOG. what headspeed are you running on your Gaui X3L? Noticed a slight tail wag in Normal mode as you were landing in your video. I have subscribed to your YouTube channel as Rcnut

Thanks for subscribing :). Yeah, I did have a tail wag but fixed it now :).
Head speed:
N)= 2200
1)= 2500
2)= 2800
She's not a fan of low head speed.

When I was with Gaui, I ran my X3Ls at 2600,2800 3000 with no normal mode. Those little helicopters are a blast to fly and they really well with higher head speeds. They auto really well too.
