charging

I am charging my transmitter for the first time. I'm using the charging that came with the TX. After plugging the charger into the TX and then the adapter into an electric socket, I see nothing on the TX indicating that charging is taking place. Shouldn't there be some way to determine that...

Hi, So I found this few years old RC Helicopter and I'd like to get it to work. So I have 2 problems: 1. My RC controller is missing the case where batterys were held. How can I replace that? 2. My helicopter charger is missing... Is there a way to charge batteries inside it without chager? Thanks
