I'm setting up my first low-wing plane that has retracts.
I know that low-wing planes have to be CG tested when inverted; my question is this:
Should the gear be down or retracted when I do the CG test?
I have a bunch of fishing sinkers in various sizes / weights. I'm wondering if there's any reason why I couldn't use them to adjust for a CG issue. If they'd be suitable, what ideas do you have for installing them?
Thoughts?
