This isn't a direct answer more than a possible one. First before that... a single instance isn't a sign of a problem... it just happens sometimes. It is when an issue reoccurs over and over that you need to start trying to diagnose why it may be happening. In short, you may not have a problem if this is just one event as you seem to be saying by not mentioning it happens often.

Next along those lines ... Electronics glitch from time to time a lot of the time those are caused by electrical surges / sags which can cause a setting to change from what it was initially set as. When we plug a battery in, this will always cause a spark, a surge. There are capacitors that are there to help with this happening, it is expected even. It is still a surge and sometimes the built in protections can't stop it completely. So again, it may be nothing to worry about if it's a one time issue you only see rarely.

If it does continue, then you want to check all of your connections to make sure they haven't gotten loose or if it's a soldered connection, it wasn't a good one and needs to be redone. So the first part would be to go through all of the connectors, unplug and replug them back together. If it's a soldered connection, that may take experience with diagnosing them.
