Quad Eachine Beecore F3 EVO Brushed ACRO Flight Control Board Binding To DX9 Issue

After watching Tony's video on the topic on YouTube, I followed his instructions only to find on completion that although the TX was indicating that binding was complete, when I tried to run the motors, the throttle stick was dead.
I've tried all of Tony's suggestions to rectify the issue, but so far I haven't found a solution to the problem>
I actually bought 2 of these from Banggood and I'm experiencing the same issue with both.

It kinda reminds me of a similar issue myself and several of my club members had with the HobbyKing "orange" DSMX compatible receivers in that while the TX would indicate bind complete and all the control surface servos would work normally, in 8 of 10 cases, the throttle would not.

Anyway, I'd sure appreciate it if someone could come up with a solution to the Beecore F3 issue as it's unlikely asking Banggood for a refund is likely to work in this instance as they've both had the power supply connections soldered on.

Just so everyone knows, I have tried to help with this issue and I'm completely out of options. I know I'm missing something but I have no idea what. For some background on the issue, check out the comments from Sean and myself in the video linked below.

Hi Tony and thanks once again for your input.
I'm thinking along the same lines as you are in that I'm sure this is something simple but I'm missing it.

I know that when using my Hitec Aurora 9 X TX, I have to bring both sticks together at their maximum movement in the center to arm but I've tried everything I can think of along the same lines but nothing seems to work with the DX9.
