It's a bummer and a good catch in one Geena. I know you were looking forward to breaking in the Fury 57. Remember no bird will fly before it's time. Spending the extra $$$$ for a new engine stinks but You can fly when the engine comes in. Plus there's nothing wrong having a spare motor around. The maiden can wait till all is well with the Fury 57.

It is what it is...LOL. I Was hoping that the old engine was going to run, because it`s already broken in. Ah well.... I can use the break in period for the new engine for F3C practice.

If it had shut off in the air, I would have just autoed down. I’m going to install a new engine in a few days, so it will be good to go soon.

UPDATE!!!!! The new engine (YS60SR) for my Fury 57 arrived today, and I already have it installed, set up, and test started. It ready to go, and I just might swing by the field on my way home from work tomorrow to break the engine in. O-boy....O-boy! This little helicopter is going to be a wildcat with the 60 in it. :)
