Batteries What happened to my Battery??

As you all know, i was away from home in Mexico for 6 months. I am now back and starting to unpack all my Helis from storage.
My batteries were stored in a Metal locked box, all charged to storage 3.8V per cell.
All of them except one have survived the winter.
One of my 6S packs has puffed.

I'm wondering if i can remove the one puffed cell and make it a 5 cell pack?
Even puffed, all the cells are still balanced and still at 3.8V per cell.

remember the brushless motor soldering incident? you may remember that fondly if you try to rewire that little bomb there Lee.

Very interesting. And I would not try to remove a cell. Not worth it when a $30 battery can take down a $600+ helicopter. I would just disregard that battery and play it safe.

Even if it worked, it would be going nowhere near my helicopters. I would take off two cells and make it a 3000mah 4cell for my funjet.

I'm going to do an update here soon to a newer versions to try and fix this issue. It has to do with vbulletin and not my server and no one can find the issue. but, I need a few hours of free time to do the update because the last time I did it on the other forum, it reset the colors of all "content.php" pages to the default settings. If that happens here, I'm more than likely going to go to one set theme for everyone since it takes about 2 hours per color to reset everything. I'm going to try to do it not this weekend, but next when I don't have to go back to work on that Monday and have time to work on the forum. I'm also going to do a lot of other cleaning as well.

More than likely, as stated before, the background will be black. Like myself, many of the members read in a dark room, and a blinding screen hurts more than it helps. I have not even started on the new theme yet, but I think I'm going to before upgrading the forum. I know the forum needs the upgrade, I'm just dreading all of the changes afterwards lol.

I'm trying to get some more content shot, but it's taking a lot longer than normal with working full time and not being able to bring anything to work with me other than my lappy. If I could bring my planes, heli's and Tx with me, I would have a steady supply of videos and content just rolling out. Give it time and she will grow. Also, any and all suggestions on content are welcome. I don't know what you want to see unless you tell me. I'm good, but a mind reader I am not lol.

I will be putting in more effort from now on, as i'm back home with my toys and i have full power internet  Since returning home, i have found and rented a house, bought a car and my wife got a job all in less than a week. After my 40th birthday party tomorrow I can finally settle down to some heli building and hopefully some flying if this 40mph wind calms down :D

I crashed mine hard into the concrete today on the third battery. Not sure what happened, the tail just went haywire and I couldn't gain orientation again. Just cut the throttle and let it hit. The thing that really sucks is it was forcing it's self down before I cut the throttle lmao. So far all I can find broke is one of the weights on the blade broke off, and it seems like my links are a little loose on the swash. Lucky break there. Planes did fine even though I lost orientation on my last Extra flight cause I had my glasses on and dark clouds moved in lmao. Got it back though.
