a question for you guys. Im having trouble keeping my align 600 stable in hover and in forward flight it seems very twitchy
Its a flybar bird. My question is would a flybarless conversation help it or is it a waste of money and should i go standard fbl or dfc?
I want more stability in flight more than anything i dont do 3d.

Have you tried putting a little expo in your Tx? Maybe even dial down the rates by taking your dual rates to 70 or so?

As for flybarless, it can help or hurt. Help in that everything is electronic as far as stability goes. Hurt because if your not good with understanding how to program them, it will take some time.

And FBL over DFC IMO. DFC is cool, but it likes to eat servos. But, for what it's worth, I have a DFC head on my nitro 600.

Yeah I’ve dialled it down if I remember d/r is at 80 and expo at 20 but its not happy in wind the slightest gust and its off and a bugger to bring back to hover. Maybe it’s just my experience and skill level thats the problem.
Is there anything i can do to the flybar set up to help the situation?

Make sure you are using high quality servos and verify all of the links are tight without a lot of slop. You can also put weighted flybar paddles on it or weights and it will stabilize it.

Which of your videos do you recommend for setting it up on my heli? Id rather use your videos to make sure I've done it correctly

This is on a 450, but same principal. The first one is with full adjustable links, the second one is with solid links.

Thanks Tony will check my setup and go from there before forking out all that money for no reason.
