Hi. A couple of years ago I purchased a KDS 900 Gyro for my first 450 Heli build. Long story the build was delayed for about two years and within that time I lost the gyro manual disc. I have the programming unit but It have no idea how use it or what the settings mean. I've been scouring the internet for days now for a manual or guide for this gyro but I've found nothing, even KDS's own website has nothing to offer. Is anyone familiar with this unit?

I tried searching the web including cached pages and every page that had it is no longer active (404 error). This gyro was introduced in 2010 so finding the manual online is going to be pretty much impossible since everything back then was on disk and not download. And quite honestly, you can get much better gyros now for a very respectable price.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated. I'll look for a new gyro.

What is your budget and what are you putting it on? We can definitely help out in a gyro purchase. Also, what Tx are you using?

Pretty strapped for cash but around $80 to $100AU. I've almost finished putting togeather my own 450 clone with parts from Ebay. My transmitter is a spektrum DX6i bound to a Spektrum AR6210 receiver.

Below are both of the items that I would suggest. The gyro is a clone of the MicroBeast and I have one, but I have yet to test it. But the reviews don't lie, it's still a good gyro. And it's cheap. The tail servo though is almost double the cost of the gyro lol. But, if you are going to spend money, do it on the tail to keep it stable. This is the servo that I run on the ALZRC Devil 450. It's under $80 usd, but might be getting close to the $100 AU.
