Well my Gaui X3L has arrived today :). The sad part is that it goes under the tree :(. I should start my build after the new year. IMG_3423.JPG

Yeah it will be neat to build another heli. It's been about 5 yrs since I built one... the X3. Here's the X3 after a bad day. I know how Geena feels IMG_3420.JPG

I`m glad your new kit arrived, but it stinks that it has to go under the tree. Christmas will come soon enough though, and you can get going on the build. Crashing my X3L doesn`t bother me at all. I do it quite a bit, actually. It doesn`t start getting painful, until you start crashing 700s...LOL.

My X3 basic is under the tree as well, been buying a few extra items like the frame reinforcement plates and extra battery trays.
Your kit looks great, I'll see how the basic one goes first before going to L.

I decided to start stripping the electronics tonight off the X3 to check the connectors and any nick wires from my crash. Everything looks fine on the electronic end but frame wise of the X3 not so good Lol. IMG_3430.JPG

Hey there URI. No I wasn't under power when I drove it to the ground. Actually I was practicing my flips and as I was coming out of one of the flips, I had a brain fart and gave it throttle a little early before coming out of the flip completely and basically powered the heli into the ground. A case of dumb thumbs or just a duh moment lol. Lesson learn... I hope lol.

We all have those moments while flying. You should see how bad I tattered my X3 when I was in texas. I drove it nose first into the cement with no canopy.
