Micro 180 cfx Servo mystery

I have a trio 180 cfx and a two bladed cfx I'm wondering if you can put the metal 2065 cyclic servos on the two-bladed cfx which has the plastic 2060 servo. They just re-released the trio 180 cfx I believe in June or July and I cannot find the 2065 servos anywhere for replacement. Anybody have a clue?
Is there any new word for a easy replacement for the stock tail servos in the 180 cfx's

Welcome to the forum.

Horizon Hobbies do not have stock of the 2065 servos yet, you can only pre-order, so if they don't have them nobody will.

I replaced the plastic gears in mine with after market metal gears, I think they were from Lynx, they work well.

I replaced the Tail servo with an Align 420 tail servo, slightly slower but a lot better than replacing the stock servo every other week, because the servo rotates the opposite direction to the Spektrum one you need to modify the tail push rod slightly.

With the metal gears in did you change the frame rate on the transmitter to 11 or did you leave it at 22 and aren't the 2065 supposed to be a little faster

No I didn't change the frame rate left it at 22ms and yes I imagine the 2065 would be a little bit faster and maybe stronger than the 2060, but I doubt that in real terms you would notice the difference.

Thank you so much for your information all the YouTube stuff is like really old I'm going to get the lynx metal gear kit and replace all three servos thank you I'm fairly new at this

So I bought the lynx ultra metal gear set #lx1640-a . And it is a total different gear set then what is in the 2060 servo. There is one tiny gear set and part of the little main shaft missing not included in that set. I am going to try the LX9005 set and hope that works. If you could remember the part number or the certain one that you use to replace the plastic gears in the 2060 Servo if you can post it it would be greatly appreciated

Hi Ronald, not sure which gear set I purchased it was a couple of years ago but it was either Lynx or Microheli (Product Code: MH-DS180MG) looking at the ad I think the later.

The picture does not look correct but I did the research on that product number and they say that that is the replacement for the 2060 Spektrum Servo so I'm going to buy some of those and hopefully everything works out
