So.... planes..... my kryptonite... but i finally built one!! had to be laser cut foam.. hahah

Maidened it last week. will post pics soon .

Its a flaperon , with rubber band attached wings. running on 3s battery. Its a beautiful plane!! very easy to build and very strong..

You've been into planes before! Didn't you have a P-51, a balsa trainer and the RCH Trainer? Yea, now I see what you mean haha. Can't wait to see it.

exactly.. I had the P 51 that nose dove (pilot error) .. RCH Trainer that I didnt build straight.. it never flew straight.. and I was so pissed I tore it apart.. Again pilot / builder fault..

Balsa trainer... I ended up selling it as it was too blaaah

now this.. where I dont have to cut foam myself.. I ended up trying anohter, and it actually came out very nice.

I have plans for their P-51 which uses the same power pod sitting in a box, so now I will have a trainer and a foamie P51 HAHA

by the way.. while I did not get videos of my plane.. sure did get some of my Gasser . Uploading it soon

flite test sells these foam boards laser cut. Just assemble with hot glue

I've have fell in love with planes since I crashed my HK450GT and found out it would cost more to rebuild than its worth. Started out building the rc-help trainer then bought a flite test speed build kit of the simple storch and download plans of other planes and built several only flew a couple of them so far but I really enjoy building them here are a few pics wife says I have a problem. (All made of foam board)

BTW, did you buy their powerpack bundles or piece it together from somewhere else?

I did buy a battery esc and motor from them but had servos laying around I'm going to buy the c power pack for the storch just to get some extra stuff to replace what I had really for the price of there power packs I'll looked around and could not beat there price for what all they included

I too have built several of the Flite Test planes. I like the Pietenpol very much and the trainer is a blast. It flies very slowly compared to the Mini Mustang. The planes I have built were scratch built from the plans on line. They are great fun to build and get a few blisters on your fingers! I didn't buy their power packs but pieced mine from what I had on hand.
