For all of you new DX9 owners out there, as well as those that are looking into getting the DX9, here is the video on how to set up the Tx with basic Helicopter parameters. This video will walk you through the basics of getting that new bird up in the air. As always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please post them up! We would love to read them!
Hey everyone. There is information out there about D/R and Expo that is just flat out WRONG! I know a few that call themselves "Guru's" that have it totally wrong. Well, I want to help make it right. In the video below, you will hear, and see me explain how D/R and Expo work, and why you should use it. I draw out, and explain how positive (+) and negative Expo affect the servos, and why you don't want to use negative in the Spektrum DX6i. I'm sure other Transmitters are like this one, but I...
I had a Subscriber on YouTube ask me how you adjust the stick tension on the DX9 and instead of just typing out a reply, I decided to make a quick little video on how to adjust your stick tension. Hope this helps someone out that was worried about tearing up their transmitter right after they purchased it lol.
One of the first things you need to do with your new DX9 is update the firmware. If you don't, when you turn it on, and when you shut it off, it will give you a message telling you to register your DX9 and update the firmware. In this video, I show you step by step exactly how to do that.
Hello everyone. If there is one questions or suggestion that I get asked more than anything else, it's "can you make a "how to" video that covers everything from start to finish?". Well, that is exactly what I have done. This series is going to show you exactly what to do to setup your DX6i, set all your swash, pitch, throttle curves, gyro settings, end point's, and everything else in the radio. Then, I'm going to show you exactly how to bind the Tx to the Rx. Then, setup all fo the...
In this video, I walk you through how to set up a basic airplane in the DX9. As always, if you have any questions, all you have to do is post below and we will help you out.

When you get your new DX8, you will want to setup a model in it. If you are flying helicopters, this is the video for you. In this video we are in the System Setup menu and we go through all of the screens to set the basics up for a CCPM helicopter. From name and type, to switch select and trim steps. Have a watch and let me know what you think.
Hello and welcome to the All New RCH Transmitter How To section! This section has taken the place of the Helpful How-To that was in the forum before. In an effort to keep the forum clean and keep the information easy to access, we have moved everything into this section. On the left side, after you clicked on the How To link, you will notice that there are now more links just below it all with blue "+" signs to the left of them. If you click on those + signs, it will open up the content...
For those of you with small hands, heres a little tip.
In this video, I'm going to show you one of the easiest things you can do to the DX8 to make it your own. Unlike the DX6i, the DX8 has holes in the case ready to adjust the sticks. Have a watch and let me know what you think.
When you get your DX8, the first thing you should do is go into the system Setup Menu and make it your own. In this video I show you exactly how to do this. One thing I forgot to include is in the battery menu within the setup menu, you can only adjust the warning and not the actual battery type. The DX8 will automatically adjust for NiMh or LiPo. If you have any questions, just click on the link above to go to our forum and let us know what your questions are.
So you are ready to move up from your DX6i, and you went out and purchased a brand new DX7s/DX8. Now you look at it and wonder what all can be done with it. That is where this playlist will come in handy. As time goes on, I will be adding more and more to the playlist, so make sure to check back often to see if I have added anything. As always, if you have questions, post them below and we will help you out. <iframe width="640" height="360"...
Over time, I have had a lot of people ask me to make a full guide for the DX6i. Well here it is. This is a guide that goes from start to finish on setting up a helicopter. Once you know the basics of the DX6i, it will get much easier to work with it, and start playing around with it. In this guide, I will cover everything from setting up the radio, throttle & pitch curves that I use, installing the Rx, setting up the links, installing and setting up the gyro and tail servo, and finally...
This section has been moved into the How To section from just being in teh articles section.
