Blade mCP-X

Here it is everyone, the maiden flight of the brushless conversion on the mCP-X. This thing has more power than it needs with the HP05 brushless motor, and that 120SR tail is rock solid. When I flip it inverted and the wind catches it, I had to hold full positive collective, and full forward cyclic, and it moved the tail about 90º, but I could have moved the rudder as well. This is much better now. If you have any questions, come over to the forum. I'm finding it harder and harder to...
Every one of us that own the mcpx have wanted to do this upgrade. I mean lets face it, brushless is the way it should have come from the factory. But that is not how it comes because they want to save money. So it's up to us to do it ourselves. Unfortunately, the company that I purchased this kit from ripped me off. It came from Wow Hobbies in California. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS KIT FROM THEM! Even though they say they have one thing on the site, they will sell you something else if it's...
Hey everyone. Well by now I'm sure that most of you that are watching this have watched the "Crash Testing" video that I posted. Well, after I did that video, the next day I took it out for a serious flight, and not one where I'm just throwing it around to see what will break lol. Well, As I have said in some of my videos, that fence got in my way finally. It took the main gear off the little mCP X and I almost lost the bearing. I ended up turning off the camera to fix it, and I guess it...
Hey everyone, I thought I would take my poor little mCP X outside and just throw it around and see how many times I could crash it lol. Well, it was a lot... But, throughout this whole video, I broke NOTHING!!! I had to push the main gear back on the main shaft, but that was it. This has to be one of the most durable little helicopters that I have ever flown. If you are looking for a great little flyer that you can fly outside, this is the helicopter for you.
Hello everyone, Well, I have been waiting for a long time for this helicopter to come out, and now that it has, it's been worth the wait. This helicopter for a collective pitch heli, is one of the most stable little guys there is. Now, even though it's a collective pitch, it can still fly on less than 6 channels. The radio that it comes with is less than my DX6i. When I set it up on my radio, I had to do it with 90*-1 servo, and not 120*-3 servo. I found this weird, but all of the mixing...
Here is the unboxing of the Blade mCP X. This is one great little heli. It's almost as stable as the smaller mSR, but man is this thing responsive. It's almost like the bigger heli's as far as response goes. I have only hovered this heli, but it feels great in the air. I can't wait to get it outside where I can see what kind of speed this little guy really has.
If there is one helicopter that taught me how to fly, not only upright, but inverted as well, it's this little guy right here! I had been trying for quite some time to fly inverted, and on April 18th, 2011, I did it for the first time with this helicopter. Now the ending was not that great though lol. The tail was cracked and I had too much pitch in my main blades which caused the tail motor to die (main motor pulling too many amps, killing the tail motor by robbing it of power). But if...
Just one of those days when you want to get out and fly. And thanks to this mcpx, it can take crashes and go right back up into the air! Just don't forget to push that main gear back up! And don't step in the cow pies! lmao.
In the past, I have had people as why the mCP-X starts and stops abruptly. This is what is known as "cogging" and it's caused by the magnets inside the main motor against the stater. This is completely normal and I assure you, there is nothing wrong with your helicopter. It just needs these strong magnets to produce the power needed to put this helicopter in the air and allow it to do what it was designed to do. As always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, post them...
