I wasnt sure where to post this, hope it's ok here..... I recently picked up a 'Hobby Eagle A3 Super II' flight stabiliser. I got it locally but these things are available from a number of places including Banggood for about $27, or a bit more if you want the programming box (highly recommended) These things are far more advanced than any of the stabilisers I've tried before: Features Works with all major receiver brands including Spektrum, Futaba, Hitec, JR, Tactic, and more....
I was pretty excited to get this balancer in the mail. I have been wanting one like this for quite some time now. But never wanted to drop the coinage on it. Now that I have used it, I'm kicking myself for waiting! This balancer can do just about anything from props, to entire helicopter heads to wheels and tires to clutch fan assemblies, they all mount on this fantastic ballancer! Have a look at the video and be sure to post up your questions, comments and suggestions! OCDAY...
Once you have mastered the RCH Trainer, it's time to move up to something that is a little more challenging. The RCH Edge 540 is just the ticket. This plane has a very low wing load, is very quick on the sticks, and can be made to fly very stable with the right settings. As always, if you have any questions, or need any help with the build, all you have to do is post up and ask. We are here to help you out.
Hello and welcome to the All New RCH Airplane How To section! This section has taken the place of the Helpful How-To that was in the forum before. In an effort to keep the forum clean and keep the information easy to access, we have moved everything into this section. On the left side, after you clicked on the How To link, you will notice that there are now more links just below it all with blue "+" signs to the left of them. If you click on those + signs, it will open up the content...
It's going to be one of the hardest decisions you will make in this hobby. What is going to be your first airplane! Just like with helicopters, picking the correct aircraft is going to either make the hobby, or break the hobby. For this reason, you must start out with a great platform. Now I know, you all want to go out and get your favorite F4U, or P-51, but trust me, you need a high wing trainer FIRST! Why do you need a high wing trainer, because they are stable, fly pretty slow, easy...
The moment you all have been waiting for. To know what plane I purchased with the help of my wife lol. One day in the hobby store to get a new fuel pump, I had to walk down the isle with all of the BNF planes. One caught my eye. The UMX Habu DF. This thing just looked awesome and I wanted it. But, with the limited money that we had at the time, I put it back on the shelf and went and picked up my fuel pump. As I was walking up to the register, the wife asked me "didn't you want that plane?"...
About a year ago from the time of this article, I designed and built the very first Rc-Help Trainer. I was still very new to flying and didn't know a lot of how to get one in the air. but that didn't stop me from trying. That is after all what this hobby is about, learning new things. After spending countless hours designing and building this plane, it was time to put it in the air. Why did it take so long? Because I didnt' want a trainer that had to have a wing brace under it. I wanted...
