  1. Simulators & Why You Need One

Everyone that has been in this hobby for a while already knows the benefits of having a simulator. But for those that are new to the hobby, justifying spending $150+ on what some consider a game is quite hard to do. Well I'm here to tell you, that $150 investment will pay for itself, very quickly!

The two hottest Simulators out there right now are Phoenix and RealFlight. I prefer Phoenix because you get lifetime updates compared to RealFlight where you have to purchase updates. We are not...
  2. Complete Flybar Head Setup

Hello everyone, The flybar head setup video is finally here. In this video, I to into more depth on the head than I do in any other video I have made. From adjusting the swash mix, to adjusting the links on the head, to leveling the swash, it's all covered in this video.

  4. Goblin Build Pt 3 Head & Swash Build #keeprchelisalive

The head on the Goblin 380 does come preassembled, but you MUST take it apart, clean all of the oil off of it and thread lock everything in place. If you are running high head speed or flying 3D, you will want to put the shims in the head which are NOT installed but are included.

In this video, I will show you how to completely take the head apart, clean everything up, thread lock everything and finally get the head mounted to the main shaft and install the top plate assembly into the...
  5. Parallel Charging Lipo's Properly And Safely

One of the most requested videos I have been asked for is "how do I parallel charge batteries". Well, the time has finally come and the video is here!

Ever since we posted the video showing us charging 9 3s batteries at 30 amps, people have asked how we could do that at such a high amp rating. And the secret is, they were all in parallel with each other.

When you wire batteries in parallel, you are doubling the capacity, but the voltage is staying the same. You are also doubling the...
  6. Setting Proper Gear Mesh

When you are building your helicopter, you take the time to install all of the servos correctly, make sure the shafts are perfect, but some over look at just how important it is to set the proper gear mesh.

If you set the mesh too loose, you run the risk of stripping the gears. If you set the mesh too tight, then not only will you put unneeded stress on the motor, battery and ESC, but also the risk of overheating and melting the main gear.

Some say that you can use a piece of paper...

  8. ⚠️ Cold Solder Joints⚠️ Catch Them Before They Crash You

If there is one thing that can ruin your day faster than anything, it's when a cold solder joint decides to finally come apart resulting in a crash! Always double check the factories soldered connections before it ends up costing you money!
  9. R/c Dictionary

Every day in the RC world, we use different terms that you may or may not know. We are working on helping you better understand these terms by providing you with a dictionary will all of the terms that we use. If there is something missing, just let us know and we will add it. 10. Dx9 How To Helicopter Basic Setup

For all of you new DX9 owners out there, as well as those that are looking into getting the DX9, here is the video on how to set up the Tx with basic Helicopter parameters. This video will walk you through the basics of getting that new bird up in the air.

As always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please post them up! We would love to read them!
  11. Qx Aluminum Alloy Multifunctional Soldering Station Xt60 Xt90 T Banana Plug

I am not making a video on this item because quite honestly, this thing is complete trash. As you can see, the title clearly states it is made out of Aluminum and if you look at the pictures, you can clearly see it is NOT made out of aluminum.

I had high hopes of using this holder to help in soldering a lot of different items from battery terminals to bullet connectors. When I received it, something just felt off with it. It wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be. So I took it out of the...
  12. Complete Cc3d Beginner Setup Guide

In this video, I show you how to do everything from program the transmitter (in my case, a DX9) to the maiden flight switching through all of the different flight modes.

Setup of the CC3D is very easy thanks to the Setup Wizard. Just follow along and you will have your CC3D in the air in no time. The only thing that you will have to setup that is not in the wizard is your flight modes. I go through that as well in this video.

Have a watch, tell me what you think and ask questions.
  13. Lipo Voltage Checkers A Must Have For Your Tool Box!

Voltage Tester - Battery Voltage Tester Battery Monitor Buzzer Alarm For 1S-8S Lipo Battery

This Lipo Voltage Checker for my batteries was actually included with a quad I did a review on that only had a 2s battery! I never did use it on that quad, but I have used it on every single batter that I wanted to parallel charge! This thing has become a staple in my charging setup.

In one of our live streams, it was asked if you can mount this on the side of a helicopter or in a car, and the...
  14. Installing The Ikon 2 Configurator #rchbacktobasics

Installing the Ikon Configurator may seem simple to some, but for those that have little to no experience with computers they may not know how, and that is what this series is going to cover.

We are starting a brand new series that is called RCH Back To Basics (#RCHBackToBasics) to get back into some of the things that we all have to deal with when we first get into the hobby. If you have suggestions on what you would like to see in future videos, post them in the comment section below!...
  15. Goblin Build Pt 6 Installing The Canopy & Blades #keeprchelisalive

Installing a canopy is simple, right? WRONG! Not when you move up to a Goblin. The canopy shipps with a 2mm hole already drilled into the canopy. It is up to YOU to ream that hole out to fit the 10mm (1CM for those in america lol) so that you can fit the grommets in it. Yea, I will not be doing this again. Want to know why, just watch the video.

Oh, and I put the main and tail blades on as well. So there's that lol.
