Good Evening
I have another thread over in Quads about my bird, but this one is about the NAZA M V2 itself and setting it up with the DX8.
I have done a lot of reading and youtube vids about the setup and programming and have managed to get most of the way through it, however now I am stuck.
The Flight Mode switch should select GPS, ATTI and Manual. All the info I read said to set your endpoints to about 85% then use the sub trim to dial it in on the sweet spot in the assistant software. OK, I did all that and mine looked exactly like the one on the video, connected up to PC and adjusted to get GPS and Manual to work, however, with the switch set to midpoint, the software slider goes to failsafe instead of ATTI. How the heck do you get it to go there?
Also not sure I have the Home switch set up correctly yet.
Also, during the setup, Motor test. Apparently when you click the motor buttons on the software, each motor should spin with its respective button, haven't been able to get that to happen. The kid on the video runs through some of that stuff pretty fast.
The installation was pretty easy, had to trim the guide keys on the provided 3 wire cables to plug them into the Spektrum 6200 Rx I have
This guys video was Very helpful and where i got the most info.
This kid KNOWs his stuff but doesn't speak dinosaur for my benefit
He has a series of vids that are helpful, he just goes a little too fast for me on some of it.
