Dog, about the RX, I like the new antennas that are on it. I'm sure that after I receive the new modified Microbeast SRXL2 Adapter Cable, I'll be moving on. Fun, fun, fun...

Hey guys, I made a total dardidar when I was setting the swashplate up. I followed the Beast's instructions on the radio setup. It said to set the swash to NORMAL. Wrong! The last time I checked, this chopper has a CCPM 120 deg. swashplate right. So now I need to reset all the servos. That's ok, I knew the first time out, it be a practice run. Are we having fun yet...........

Actually, that's right. All the mixing is done in the FBL controller. TX must be set to 90 degree or normal.
Oh man, you just saved my sanity!
Fortunately I didn't reset nothing on the bird yet, just the radio. No problem, I'll just set the swash back to normal.
Thanks again big time!
Forward!!!

Hey guys I've been meaning to ask, where's the damper disk for the main rotor head? Mine didn't come with one. Did I get ripped??

You mean the head button? they havent used them for years now. I think you can still buy one if you wanted one, but I guess they had to cut corners.. lol

Here's the number for the 500, but I couldn't find it anywhere H50007

Ok, how come when I move the pitch up and down the tail rotor moves back and forth as well?? I must have screwed the pooch somehow. lol... Swash is set to 90 deg. All cyclic servos move in the proper directions as well.. No mixes in the radio.

So, the tail should move a small amount when you pump the collective. this is to compensate for the torque changes. What you might do is take a look at the parameter menu, point F. Precomp. The status light will show if the revomix (I think they call it) is activated.

WOW!! that did it! the tail rotor is behaving much better now. The setting was on a solid red, I changed it to a solid purple and boom! Nice!...
Ok, onward. I still have some questions about the cyclic travel. More study is required.. I need to figure out how to set the max pos and neg travel on the swash in different flight modes. Hint, hint......

Well one thing on different flight modes. Most call it bank switching. Unfortunately, it's not free on the microbeast. It's an upgrade to pro for 100 eruo. Also, a note on the revo mix. Just be sure it boosting the right way. There are two choices. Honestly, you could probably turn it off to start with. A 500 shouldn't need it unless you're really beating the tar out of the machine.
