ESC YEP and AR7200BX

Hi guys,
I'm having a slight issue with Throttle initialisation on my YEP.
I have swapped out the IKON FBL for the 7200BX.
Before I could switch on TX, flip THR hold on, plug in heli, and get all the beeps.
Now on the 7200BX I don't get the last beeps of the sequence.
I have to do High throttle to low throttle before it will initialise.
Its like I am recalibrating every time?

Everything work afterwards, but I want to get it working properly.

Lower the Throttle servo trim in the TX
Thats what mine did on my 550 And mine will not arm till I flip hold on then back off

Are you getting the continuous beeping at the start of the throttle setup? I remember having to do it a few times as you have to be quick.

Ok.
What I have discovered.
The AR7200BX does not output a High signal on start up. So the YEP doesn't initialise.
To get round this, you need to have the radio in THR hold. Once you plug the battery in, you get all the beeps telling you the cell count.
But not the final beeps.
I flick the Hold ON and OFF again, and it gives the high signal the ESC needs to initialise.

Whether this is right or not, I don't know. But it seems to work.

7200bx needs to see low throttle before it will initialize and send out a thr signal (holds low until then). Safety feature. If the yep needs mid or high thr to initiate then sounds like you'll have to play the game each time.

Hoping it won't be too long before I can order the new IKON.
Then I won't have to worry about it :)
Looks ok to fly tomorrow. So we'll see how it goes.

BINGO!!!! We have a winner.
Spent all day search the net and speaking to various people.
I had to bind the BX with Mid stick and THR hold on.
Only way to do this was to turn off alarms for high stick and THR hold or it won't bind.
Now it initialises with low stick :D.
