Xfx Trex 450 V2 6ch Rc Helicopter Super Combo

A $60 "Super Combo" 450 helicopter? Is it worth actually purchasing? That is what this series is all about. This was the absolute cheapest helicopter kit that I would find. In this series, I will go through what this helicopter needs to get in the air and most importantly, make it SAFE!!! Because out of the box (spoiler alert), it is one of the most unsafe helicopters I have ever seen!

Thank you for the video Tony, it's been helpful on my 450 ongoing build, it's given me some ideas on electronic placements.

Due to the lack of response wanting to see the installation of the servos, I just went out there today and put the Emax servos into the helicopter as well as the Align DS520 on the tail. So as far as the electronics go, there should not be an issue unless the motor or ESC burn up lol. But those will also be replaced with an Align 450 motor and Castle ESC unless i already used them on another heli, which is possible. But I should be doing some more video on this heli here soon. People seem to like it.

If the wind will cooperate today I will try to get out and get this thing maidened. I'm a little worried about this one, more so than any other helicopter that I have put in the air, including the HK600GT lol. And I was flat scared of that thing. But here is hoping the wind dies down and we get to put that heli in the air.

I do need to make a new hat for the camera though. But what hat do I want to drill a hole in... That is the question....
