Who's the oldest RC pilot

I've read loads of posts about you old guys flying helis and planes, so I'm posting this thread to find out who is the oldest pilot in the forum...

I'll start, I'm 60 on December the 22nd... Only been flying CCPM since January when I got my blade 450 3D, wish I started 30 years ago, I love the hobby.

The flying is the easy bit in my opinion but bending down to plug the battery in is whats the hardest thing in this hobby lol
age here nearly 70 but in the mornings its feels like 85 lol

I know how you feel Treff, lol. Take a plastic picnic table with you to take off and land on...lol, my main problem is seeing the heli at distance, I quickly lose orientation... 70 eh, well I'm just a nipper then... Haha

At 56 I am just getting started in this hobby, but all the miles are adding up. Bending down to get setup, seeing the bird very far away, yea, I got all that too.
I do enjoy building the things though

52 here, with a transmitter of one sort or another in my hand since I discovered the HPI XXX-CRT some 30 years back.

I've never built a heli yet, but wouldn't mind building a 500 or 600 size heli, maybe then I'll be able to see it... Lol

I'm 65 started flying FF Gliders at 10 then control line at 11 until 18 dropped out for a couple of years then came back several times when I had time over the next 40 years, discovered Electric Helicopters when I was about 60 now about to retire and have more time.

My mental age is stuck somewhere around 16 to 20 but ho the body soon lets you know what you used to do ain't goin
to happen any more lol. It's still great fun and an achievement flying helis just a bugger when when bit start to fall off
and I don't mean off the heli lol.

I am 21 second award. Well almost second award. I quit counting at 21 still feel like it most days but others i feel my age of 40.

These last 5 days or so i have busting my butt to get my garden area cleared of over grown plants, or what most would call weeds. Mixed in there is a smattering of poison ivy. I hope to finish the clearing part by Tuesday if the body lets me. In the end i could have a nice smack hover location in my own yard.

49 for me. I feel 60 when I get up some mornings and 18 when I fly. The inner child in me is still alive and kicking.

WTF? Ah, your age in binary code! I'll have to forward this to our IT department.LOL

Now I know why you don't sleep at night Tony. Most people count sheep. You, on the other hand seem to count numbers.:biggrin-new:

Why do people (wives) always say "why are you playing with kids toys"
It seems the majority of us are 40+
I'm 42, but after years of professional sport, my body feels a lot older :(

The binary conversion is 22354589549076553 which if it is anything could be his age in seconds which would make him a mere 70,885,938 years old, which would make him the oldest pilot LOL

That is not just my age. There is some other info within that binary.

I think you have more time on your hands than you think....lmao.... I know the last word is "impressed" but no time to decode the rest... Lol
