Chargers What's it used for...pc link on UP100AC plus

This port on my charger can connect to my computer but I can't figure out what its for. Firmware update possibly?

Yup, you can update firmware on the charger with that port. But only if there is firmware to update it. The OCDAY chargers that I have reviewed have a USB port but do not allow any updating. There is also a way (if there is software to support it) where you can datalog your charging cycles. But after a couple times, it's pretty pointless.

Some chargers even have ports like that which allow you to view, and save charging data onto your computer. Or even control the charger with the computer. My PL8X2 has that ability, but I have never used it. So I don`t know much about how it works. I may have to try it out and make a video some time soon.

That would be aweful Geena... It will make me want that charger MORE than I do now lmao.
