This box arrived on the courier early last week.

After a bit of soldering and gluing I took her out for a maiden flight.

Excuse the video quality, my head cam doesn't much like the sun.
It is definitely not like the little Hobbyzone Champ to fly.

My hands were shaking when I landed but that was fun.
WOOHOO, I CAN FLY A PLANE!! :)
Now the weather is gonna be rubbish so I cannot fly it again for ages.
Can't wait to get a bit more time on it, then it's FPV time. :)

For a maiden, that was very uneventful! Great job on setting that thing up. As for the landing, I"m not sure if you can flair that plane, but those planes are quite strong. If you do damage them, a little hot glue and it's good as new. Again, great job on the flight!

Lol, it actually "landed" a little sooner than I intended it to.
A little further along and it would have landed on the freshly mowed patch of paddock I had prepared just for the task. :biggrin1:

Oh get used to that! I do that all the time. Most of the time though, I overshoot the runway hahaha.
