It's anything that has a tail wheel. Edge 540, P51 Mustang and such. If it has a front wheel that is used to steer, then it's a "tricycle". Hope this helps.

Well everybody is correct, It is a plane that drags it's tail on the ground and it doesn't have to have a wheel on it! skid bars were common!
It is also what the boss calls me on monday morning and friday after noon! LOL :huepfenicon111:
