600 WESTY's GOBLIN 630 BUILD! -SUPER EXCITED!

just thought I would get this thread started!!!!



Guess what ???? I am just about to rock off out the door to Hobby Hangar and pick up my BRAND NEW GOBLIN 630!!!!

Wish Me luck! ..... Building time YES!!!!

MY BUILD COMPONENTS:

1 x Goblin 630 Airframe
1 x 120A HV YEP ESC
3 x Align DS615 Servos - Cyclics
1 x Align DS655 Servo - Tail
1 x Scorpion HKIII 4035 560 (12s)
1 x Align 6v Voltage Converter (for servos)
1 x IKON FBL Controller
1 x 2s Lipo (for Servos and ESC)
2 x Mtr 10AWG Black and RED WIRING
10 x Deans Female connectors
2 x Align 4mm ESC and Motor Connectors with heat shrink
Control systems:

1 x Spektrum DX7s
2 x Spektrum DSMX satellites
1 x Spektrum DSMX AR8000 (came with Tx ... will not use it)

I may have missed something ...... most of it will be here in about 3 weeks

I will update during the thread.... and also place the sequential videos in the first post here so that if someone comes along and wnat hte complete build .... it is all in the first post

wow .... I just can't believe how simple and fast these things are to assemble!

4.5 hours into the build .... and I have all the sub assemblies together ..... just the tail to finish off and the head to assemble....

The most complex and toughest part so far is the tail and servo slider arm.

Will give another work out in about half an hour .... and see if I can get the tail knocked out and my servos on.

I must say .... it sure is nice to buy something new....

I bought my 500 and 600 second hand!.....

Thanks guys .... I will be grinning for months to come.

I could not resist the Gobby .... " My Precious" so I put the tail together.... sheathed my Tail servo and installed, Put the transmission in and put the tail on ...

I just had to put the canopy on to see what she looked like! .... WOW! She is huge.... much bigger than my 600 by miles!


The Photos do not show the depth and details of the paintwork on this heli! I am blown away!
